is what you're capable of doing

determines what you do

determines how well you do it"

- Lou Holtz

Skating is the fundamental skill that all other skills in hockey are based off of. Stride Hockey was created by head instructor Lino Di Lella to help players develop proper stride mechanics and develop them into more efficient and powerful skaters.

The importance of learning proper technique is vital in skill development, and muscle memory. This is the reason why Stride Hockey breaks down skills and teaches in progression to maximize a players potential.

As players progress so does the level of intensity and training. Our program is designed to push players regardless of age and skill level to work outside their comfort zone  to develop more refined skills, confidence in their abilities and to continue to grow as a player.

Through personalized, positive and motivating teaching techniques Stride Hockey is able to get the best out of their athletes.

See for yourself the difference Stride Hockey can make!

"Nicholas' stride mechanics have drastically improved since he's been training with Lino. Under Lino's direction Nicholas has garnered explosiveness and lengthening of stride. I would highly recommend Lino to anyone looking to improve their skills!"

"As a team we wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for lino's techniques and energy when it comes to power skating and skills. one thing that differentiates stride hockey is that they care about every athlete and team they work with and are committed to helping them all improve."

"Lino understands biomechanics and is able to convey in simple terms the techniques required to develop tremendous skating and skill. I would highly recommend lino and stride hockey to any parent who wishes to see their child excel in hockey."

"in the past players used to be able to get by simply because of their size and physicality. in todays game skating and skill are paramount to a players success. when it comes to power skating and skill training Lino and stride hockey are elite in their abilities to develop players to reach their maximum potential."
