Hour 1:

Stride Mechanics

  • Power skating
  • Stride length
  • Edges
  • Agility
  • Explosiveness/Speed

Hour 2:

Skills

  • Puck control (stick handling, deception, puck protection)
  • Transitions with pucks (tight turns, pivots, escapes)
  • Shooting (drills to help mimic game situations)
  • Stations

Hour 3:

Battles/Small Area Games

  • puck protection
  • escapes
  • compete
  • gap control/containment
  • defensive puck retrieval tactics
  • finding open ice
  • seam passes

Students will be broken up based on age and skill level
