About The Event

Students will be broken up based on age and skill level

Hour 1:

Stride Mechanics

  • Power skating
  • Stride length
  • Edges
  • Agility
  • Explosiveness/Speed

Hour 2:

 Shooting:

  •  wrist, snap, slap, backhand
  • quick release
  • one timer
  • shot accuracy
  • changing angle of the puck
  •  shooting in stride

Hour 3:

Skills

  • Players will use shooting techniques in game like situation stations
  • Puck control (stick handling, deception, puck protection)
  • Transitions with pucks (tight turns, pivots, escapes)
  • Shooting (drills to help mimic game situations)
  • Stations
